Privacy notice
How 1CX Ltd uses the personal information you give us through this website.
Who we are
This website is run by 1CX Ltd (“1CX”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16444640. Registered office: 2 Manor Court, Manor Mill Lane, Leeds, United Kingdom, LS11 8LQ. Office: 2 Stourton Haigh, Leeds, LS10 1AX.
We are the controller of the personal data described in this notice. For any privacy question or request, email accounts@1cx.uk.
What we collect
When you send our contact or demo form, we collect:
- your first and last name, email address and (if you give it) phone number
- your firm’s name, type of firm and number of users
- what you are interested in and anything you write in the message box
- the date and time you sent the form, and that you agreed to be contacted
To protect the form from spam and abuse, our web server also uses your IP address briefly to limit how many messages can be sent. We keep this for up to one hour and do not link it to your enquiry.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website. Our typefaces are hosted on our own server, so no information is sent to font providers.
How we use it and why
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a demo. Lawful basis: steps you have asked us to take before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- To follow up about NX365 and related 1CX services where you have asked us to contact you. Lawful basis: legitimate interests. You can ask us to stop at any time.
- To keep the website and form secure. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
We will not add you to a marketing mailing list without your separate consent, and we do not sell your information.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with service providers who process it for us, under contract:
- Microsoft: your form submission is delivered to and stored in our Microsoft 365 email.
- Our website hosting provider: runs the server that receives the form.
- Cloudflare: our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not an automated program, is sending it. Turnstile processes your IP address and basic browser and device information for this check only, and does not use it for advertising. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, it is protected by UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer, in which case your information is kept in line with our customer agreement.
Cookies
When you send the contact form, the website sets one strictly necessary session cookie to stop repeated submissions. It is deleted when you close your browser. Cloudflare Turnstile may store a small amount of information in your browser to complete its security check. No other cookies are set.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to have it transferred to you or another organisation. Email accounts@1cx.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
